Advance reservations are needed for dinner at SingleThread restaurant, which was awarded three Michelin stars in 2019 for its 11-course tasting menu customized to guests' dietary preferences and restrictions. Other lunch options include sharing delicious and innovative small plates on the back patio at Bravas Bar de Tapas, named one of the top 20 tapas restaurants in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure, or going to the celebrated Barndiva, which crafts unique menus with Sonoma County ingredients. The Oakville Grocery (founded in 1881) creates big, beautiful, gourmet sandwiches to order, and you can eat on the dog-friendly patio while you soak up the sun. Duke’s Spirited Cocktails has absolutely amazing craft cocktails made to order, with almost all ingredients made from local Sonoma County products, as well as some touches from their own garden.
If you’d like to combine a noon-time meal with some R&R, many residents love going to The Taste of Tea Restaurant, Spa & Tasting Bar where you can eat traditional Japanese dishes with a tasting flight of classic teas, and unwind and soothe with a Japanese green tea foot soak, an aromatic herbal neck wrap, and a tea-infused bamboo fabric facial mask. With so many cute shops and specialty stores in the town plaza, Healdsburg residents absolutely love spending time downtown. A local favorite for custom handmade furniture, fine décor, and art is the
